A probability based methodology for multi object optimization in material selection

Multi object optimization in material selection involves the satisfaction of optimizing multi attributes simultaneously, which analogically corresponds to simultaneous appearance event viewpoint probability theory, thus – becomes assessment “joint probability” these attribute problem. Furthermore, preferential degree candidate is reflected by concept probability, and a quantitative approach for evaluating partial each indicator total (joint) proposed on basis theory correspondingly. In approach, all indicators are divided into beneficial or unbeneficial types; contributes one linearly its authorized upon nature whether type merely; product probabilities makes final unique index decisively; materials can be ranked according their probabilities, determines result selection. condition discrete input variables objects extended case continuous objects.
